Oaxaca has found a special place in my heart, not just for its beauty, but for its people. From the locals who sent finger hearts with surprised smiles, to the “random acts of kindness” that showed the open-mindedness of Southern Mexico. The smiles of the friends who became like family here still warm my soul. Will be back soon.
오아하카는 마법같은 도시다.
마법에 홀린듯 흘러가버린 아쉬운 시간속에서도 셔터를 한번 더 누르고 싶은 의지보단 한 순간이라도 더 온몸으로 느끼고 싶다는 의지가 강했던 동화속 순간에 들어갔던 기분이다.
이곳의 아름다움 만큼이나 따뜻했던 사람들을 만나고 나니 더욱 애정깊이 마음속에 자리잡은 오아하카. 한국인이라는 이유만으로도 신기하고 놀란 표정을 지으며 손으로 하트를 날려주던 랜덤함과 따뜻함의 사이에서 새삼 멕시코 남부 사람들의 이방인에 대한 열린마음을 느낄 수 있었다. 이곳에서 만난 가족같이 되어버린 친구들의 미소가 아직도 내 마음을 따뜻하게 한다.
